The Institute has the state of the art infrastructural facilities to host various events of Regional, national and International level like training, workshop, conferences. etc The facilities includes Conference Halls, Library, GIS Lab, Computer Lab., Internet Services, Video Conferencing besides the facilities for the guest for their homely board & lodging organized within the campus.
The Regional Centre is equipped with the following facilities:
Three Conference Halls (all air-conditioned) with seat capacities ranging between 25 and 70, equipped with up-to-date audio-visual aids, presentation tools, computer and Wi-Fi enabled internet connectivity.
The centre has a state-of-the-art Library for the information & academic needs of staff, faculties, participants, researchers, academicians and other scholars of the north eastern region. The NIRD-NERC Library has a collection of books, periodicals (National & International), bound journals, Govt. Reports, Research Project Reports, Statistical hand books, guidelines of RD schemes, demographics profiles and maps etc.
A well-equipped advanced air conditioned computer laboratory with 36 numbers high end desktop PC including 2 numbers of Servers. The lab is exclusively used for skill up gradation of rural development functionaries in various software application packages related to the management of RD programmes. The Lab has the following facilities-

- Two numbers IBM Servers
- Gigabit LAN
- Internet Connection to all nodes
- Wi-Fi Enabled
- Touch screen display (65 inches) for interactive presentation
- Latest license software like Windows 7, MS-office 2013, Visual studio 2012, MS-SQL Server 2012, IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0
- 20 KVA UPS for power backup

NIRD-NERC has two very good hostel-cum-guest suites with all modern amenities. Old hostel can accommodate 44 guests at a time while the new hostel has a capacity of 35 guests accommodation.
Facilities at the Institutes are available on hire basis subject to availability.
